The Road Less Taken..: A Russian Deepavali

Yesterday we m'sian medical students frm MMA went to the M'sian Embassy for the Deepavali open house. The function starts at 5 pm ( by that time its already dark in moscow ) but due to moscow's traffic jam we reached there about 6 pm. We were clueless on our dressing as this is our 1st M'sian function ( not sure bout the others but it is for me XD ) so we decided to dress formally.

This was one of the rare occasions where the public bus is LOADED wit M'sian students..

OK the pic doesnt depict that it is loaded cos we kinda left our hostel late.. underestimated russian rush hour LOL..

Then we arrived at the M'sian Embassy to be greeted by a throng of M'sians in Moscow waiting to enter the food area ( one of the reasons y m'sians attend open houses at the embassy is bcos of the free m'sian food ).

And boy do we have to wait a helluva long time for the food..

And while waiting i took a pic wit my 'brudder'..

Does he even look like me??!! No idea y everyone says i look like him..

And then back to waiting in line..

After the long wait we FINALLY got our food n headed outside to the main dining area ( inside is reserved for VIPs *pfft* )

Yeap thats our meal..

Dunno-wat-rice, chapati, cabbage, chick peas and dhall..

Then we all gather together n chow down our M'sian meal..

Then we all got into a camwhoring mood n started snapping away LOL

As u realised Pei Yi ( girl in brown jacket ) is really really HIGH.. She went berserk n started doin all sorts of funny stuff n laughing her scary laugh..

Then it was time to leave..

THAT WAY!!! ( thats Tee pointing XD )

So we left the embassy..

And Pei Yi went berserk again while walking back n waiting at the bus stop..

And we did more crazy stuff again..

1st they came after me..

Then they went after Chia Zhen..

Heck even the gurls went crazy..

We caught Pei Yi n Jo En waltzing LOL..

must be the high we all obtained after tasting M'sian food in a long long time..

Then we boarded the bus which arrived after quite some time..

Bryan tried to gay around n he managed to turn a few Russian heads in the bus..

In fact.. 90% of the bus we were in r loaded wit us m'sian MMA students n the remaining Russian 10% were quite annoyed wit the M'sians making so much noise.. Even Tee became emo..
